Take me back to 한국 please
안녕하세요 !
I'm finally posting about my trip to South Korea. I know I'm 3 years late ㅋㅋㅋ. I hope pictures are enough, my experiences there is kind of blurry now. What I do remember very clearly was, it was such a rush. Macam tak puas hati bah. My advice, don't take tours. Please. If you think you need tours because of the language barrier, gurl we have internet now, there are tons of English < > Korea apps you can download on your phone. Also, don't you worry about takde line or signal, jangan complen. As of 2017, South Korea had the fastest average internet connection in the world at 28.6 Mbit/s (wiki). Everything is online nowadays, just make your own research; look at reviews, blogs etc. In no time, your custom made itinerary that suits your interest is done. You will save money! Here's why;
Food - you can eat anywhere! You don't even need to eat if you're not hungry. You can buy snacks in convenience store, its everywhere. You know them Korean love em'
Lodging - no need a fancy hotel, airbnb is the place to be.
Transportation - I heard their subways are tiptop. The cost is also not bad, fares within Seoul cost between 1,250 and 2,000 won (basic fare for 10km). That's like RM4 - 5.
Time - You can spend more time in places you like. No one rushing you to go back to the bus!
However, don't get me wrong, there are a few benefits of tours. You can relax, not worry about getting lost and over spending (because you'll pay the tour beforehand).
Till we meet again xx
